John Schwenkler

Professor of Philosophy, Florida State University
view my cv
I am Professor of Philosophy at Florida State University, where I have taught since 2013. For the 2021-2022 academic year I was a Faculty Fellow at the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study. For the summer months of 2022, 2023, and 2024 my research is supported by a Humboldt fellowship, sponsored by Kristina Musholt and Sebastian Rödl of the University of Leipzig. During this time I am working on a book, to be titled Describing Human Action. Here is an overview of my research, and here is a 2019 interview that I did with Richard Marshall that touches on quite a lot of it.
